Excerpted from DIY Queer Feminist (Sub)cultural Resistance in the UK by Julia Downes.
“It has really saddened me recently to see all this fuss and hype over what is basically a right on press man’s invention. I am talking of course, about this Riot Grrrl revolution that has hit our shores … Where is it, ET? … Thanks to you ET, the music industry and especially my precious Maker, has become a vehicle for right-on crap music bollocks that pushes aside any other form of new music that does not conform to your revolutionary agenda … You are killing music, just as Stalin killed communism.”
HA HA HA HA HA! FUCK YOU!
