R.I.P. Peter Gutteridge 1961-2014
I read on my Facebook feed this morning that Peter Gutteridge died earlier today. I never knew the dude, but I certainly loved a lot of his music. He was a founding member of both The Clean and The Chills. He formed The Great Unwashed and Snapper – two wonderful Dunedin bands. He was involved with one of the great lost Flying Nun bands The Alpaca Brothers, and The Puddle. He released a great experimental solo album on Xpressway in 1989.
My thoughts go out to his his family and friends. Rest in peace.
